While Donald Trump is right that illegal immigration is a very serious threat to the future of the USA, and that the USA needs to be made great again, it is clear that Donald Trump is part of the problem—not the solution. It is not in Donald Trump’s power to make America great again; only God can do that. The glaring truth is that there will be no return to greatness without first a return to godliness. There will be no return to prosperity without a return to morality. Trump is a very foul-mouthed man who made his fortune by appealing to the basest nature of man to deceive them into gambling away their hard-earned paychecks for his immoral profits. He got rich at the expense of the American people whom he suckered into thinking he would make rich. Isn’t that just exactly what he is doing again right now? Yes, it is.
In Proverbs 14:34, God’s word informs us that “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Let’s see how plainly God explains this principle in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 28, so as to give us no excuse for misunderstanding. Pay special attention to each use of the word “if.”
What happens if a nation diligently keeps God’s commandments
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8 The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.

Pretty simple, right? If a nation will just reject all other gods, and keep the commandments of the God, then God will bless that nation beyond their wildest imagination.
What happens if a nation rejects God’s commandments
Because the punishment for disobedience is so severe, God chose to make the following warning very long and detailed (44 verses compared to only 14 for the promise of rewards for obedience), so that no one could claim he was not warned. All the verses are listed below. If you don’t have time to read all 44 verses now, read just the verses with emphasized text, and read the rest later when you have more time.
15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
16 Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.
17 Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.
18 Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
19 Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
20 The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.
21 The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.

68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
Could God have warned a nation what the consequences of rejecting God and God’s commandments would be any clearer than this?! Have not many of these curses already fallen upon our nation? Could not verses 43 through 44 apply to the illegal immigration problem which has pushed Trump to nationwide attention. But note carefully that the illegal immigration problem is a result of rejecting God and God’s word. If that sin isn’t repented of, then the immigration problem will get worse—no matter what Trump claims or does.
Sin enslaves; it does not liberate
The US economy is rapidly declining. Everyone wants a return to prosperity. But unless America repents of her sins she will continue to sink deeper and deeper into poverty. This is why so-called “fiscal conservatives” (such as Jeb Bush and Donald Trump), and so-called “libertarians” (such as Rand Paul), are such a disaster: (1) they think that a country can be prosperous, and still enjoy all manner of sins—which is an impossibility; and (2) they define freedom as being allowed to sin—which is a monstrous lie. True freedom is being able to live according to the dictates of God’s word without being punished for doing so.
Trump’s stand on sodomite marriage
Trump was recently interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter concerning gay (sodomite) marriage and Kim Davis, the county court clerk who refuses to issue marriage licenses to sodomite couples. He told the the interviewer that he has attended a gay wedding, and was then asked, “So this is a dead issue for the GOP at this point?” His answer, in so many words, was yes:
Some people have hopes of passing amendments, but it’s not going to happen. Congress can’t pass simple things, let alone that. So anybody that’s making that an issue is doing it for political reasons. The Supreme Court ruled on it.
So, obviously Trump either does not see, or else does not care, that the whole purpose of sodomite phony-marriage is to outlaw the preaching and practice of Christianity.
No true Christianity will condone sodomy because God clearly calls sodomy an abomination that should be punishable by capital punishment:
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Lev. 20:13)
An abomination is “an action that is vicious or vile; an action that arouses disgust or abhorrence” [WordNet]; “that which is abominable; anything hateful, wicked, or shamefully vile; an object or state that excites disgust and hatred; a hateful or shameful vice; pollution” [1913 Webster]. By calling sodomy an abomination, God is declaring that sodomy is hateful, wicked, shameful, vile, vicious, disgusting, and abhorrent. God made poop stink to encourage people to keep it off of themselves. Shamefully, sodomites dishonor each other by have sex up each other’s anus, thus getting fatal disease-carrying poop on their private members (see verses 58-63 above). Is that not abomination just like God said? Sodomites are known for having multiple sex partners—often into the hundreds—, and same-sex sex cannot produce children. So, is not same-sex “marriage” a farce and abomination? History shows that no country survives for long after sinking into sodomy. God alone defines marriage, and the SCOTUS is not God, although some of the Supreme Court judges are atheists/humanists who think they are gods.
Yet to Trump it is a non-issue since “the Supreme Court ruled on it”—the Supreme Court trumps God in Trump’s eyes. Trump obviously does not believe the Bible, nor does he honor the 1st and 10th amendments to the Constitution (http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/bill_of_rights_transcript.html#text). Perhaps Trump just hasn’t thought this issue through; but, if that be the case, he is not thoughtful enough to be POTUS.
Trump’s whole adult life is one ruthless lawsuit after another. He repeatedly intentionally took his companies into bankruptcy in order to force creditors to take loses to give him more profitable advantage. Read Donald Trump’s history.
