Dear Mike Huckabee dan Huck’s Army,
I have carefully researched all the potential presidential candidates, and I have no doubt that Mike Huckabee is the man God would have us choose to be the next president of the United States. More than any other person, Huckabee meets the qualifications to be a wise and able leader. But there is only one way that success can be assured to you, Mike, and that is if you meditate in God’s word daily. Otherwise, you will fall into pride, self-will, and corruption, just like other men. Power will go to your head, and you will let us down. You will sin against God, and against the USA. I believe that you are (or at least have been) a daily Bible reader, else you would not have the wisdom you show constantly. But I also see that you are very busy, and therein lies the danger — that in all your work you might neglect to receive your daily counsel from God, thinking that the country — or even a successful campain — can be lead in your own wisdom and power. No, you need God. It is not how much you do, but doing the right things (God’s will) that is important. It is not actually you that we want to lead this country. We want God to be our leader. But God has chosen to lead through men. And a growing number of us are convinced that you are the man for this hour.
So, here is some advice — not from me, but from God —, first to us, then to you:
Deut. 17:14 When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;
15 Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.
16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.
17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.
18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:
19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:
20 That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.
When Joshua became ruler of Israel God gave the same advice to him:
Joshua 1:1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Note the promise to give prosperity and success if you meditate daily in His word.
God gives the same advice and promises through King David:
Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Mike, you will become the leader of a divided and financially ruined country. And the present administration is destroying our military and making us a laughing stock around the world. We have never been so weak. And we are at war, but refuse to admit the identity of the enemy. But our most serious enemies are the atheists and humanists among our own citizens and politicians, who are working day and night to deny us freedom of speech and religion. Only God can show you the way out of all these horrendous problems, and back to peace and prosperity.
So, we pray that you, Mike Huckabee, will very seriously meditate in the Bible daily, so that you will have the wisdom and strength to overcome all adversity. May you every day have an experience like this:
13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
15 And the captain of the LORD’S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
And all of us in Huck’s Army need to read our Bibles daily also, so that we might have the wisdom to know how to do our part on the local level to get God-fearing men elected all over the USA. And perhaps you, dear reader, are being called to be one of those God-fearing men that we need to elect. If so, please volunteer!
Click here to download a daily Bible reading schedule. Start on today’s date, and read the designated Bible passages each day, and in one year you will have read through the entire Bible. The schedule prints out landscape on the front and back of one legal size sheet of paper.
All of us Huck’s Army volunteers need to pray for Mike daily, and let him know that we are doing so. I pray every morning that God will prevent Obama from accomplishing his ungodly agenda, and will remove him from office soon. I pray this verse:
Let his days be few; and let another take his office. (Psalms 109:8)
Then I pray that God might prepare Mike Huckabee to take Obama’s office.
For the sake of our children and grandchildren, may God answer our prayers, and make Mike Huckabee to be a president even better than Ronald Reagan.
